Will money, power, and fame bring a person true happiness?
Who has the answer to true happiness needs of all human?
In previous articles we explored the reason why religion is needed to guide human toward his happiness with correct life management and straight balanced path. Many school of thoughts with different perspectives of human needs have claimed that they have the key to human happiness. However, whatever the perspective has been whether it was economical, psychological, or philosophical, they all have turned to become a school of thought with policies turned to books and systems for organizations, similar to religions. However, whatever path they evolved to become a school of thought or religion, as many religions exist in the world, as many there are who claim that their religion is the best to select. So, could we set aside our own bias preferences and prejudice to logically come up with some parameters for true religion and then reevaluate what we believe to truly find the best religion?
What brings happiness?
Many think that having financial settlement, ultimate power, fame and popularity, or comfort is the ultimate happiness for the human endeavor. However, they don’t realize that in the path to gain any of these worldly goals, they have to go through much pain and trouble to gain them, and more to sustain them. They are the guardian to keep these successes rather than them keeping him safe and sound and happy. The more money, power, and fame a person has the less comfort he feels, because he has more responsibility and has more trouble to keep his status quo.
So, what is the true happiness?
True happiness is the feeling of content and satisfaction. A person must work as hard to accomplish more good for this world for himself and others around him. However, he should not worry about the result, and should rely on the ultimate good and perfection of the world, GOD, to use his efforts for the betterment of the world. A person will feel happy and content and satisfied, when he knows that his effort will not go to waste, because he believes that results and outcome of his efforts will be realized either in this world or the hereafter. Therefore, he is happy and satisfied with no regret for what is passed, nor he feels worried for what will come. He is living in the present time, accomplishing what is his responsibility to the best of his ability and relying on more complete and ultimate power for the outcome of his efforts.
